Propolis is a natural substance produced by honeybees which they use to keep their hives sterile, free from disease and bacteria. Propolis is also widely recognised as being a rich source of bioflavonoids and a natural preservative.

Thyme Leaf Oil & Eucalyptus Oil

Thyme and Eucalyptus leaf oils are rich sources of antioxidants. These essential oils have been shown to boast wide-ranging health benefits.

Almond Oil

This antioxidant-rich oil has been used for centuries to help soothe the skin, and is full of vitamin E. Highly emollient, Almond oil helps to balance the absorption of moisture and reduce water loss by absorbing quickly and acting as a powerful moisturizer.

Olive Extracts

Olive extracts are sourced from the fruit of the olive tree. Olives contain a high concentration of polyphenols, powerful antioxidants thought to be important for health – alongside various other nutrients which have been shown to possess additional health benefits.

Herstat Plus+ Cold Sore Treatment targets pain fast and helps relieve the itching and discomfort of cold sores. Our unique formula helps to retain moisture around the affected area, helping to soften your cold sore and provide soothing relief.

Through the blister stage

Whilst providing temporary relief from pain, Herstat Plus+ also provides relief from cold sore symptoms such as dry, cracked and sore lips by creating a protective barrier that retains moisture, softening the aggravated area, and preventing it from becoming contaminated.

To the painful crusts and scabs

Herstat Plus+ should be applied directly to the affected area of skin. Herstat Plus+ Cold Sore Treatment works best when applied regularly: apply directly to the affected area every 2 hours, up to 5 times per day.

The propolis in Herstat Plus+ acts as a preservative, so we don’t need to add any parabens to preserve our products or add any artificial fragrances to our ingredients.
